Union Gospel Mission–Spring Break Trip to Seattle
Here is a great video describing the Night Strikes that we will be helping with while over in Seattle.
Happy 2010!
2010 Is here
Hey everyone, happy 2010! I hope that you’re year is going great so far. I believe it’s going to be an exciting year right here in Missoula and God is going to do NEW things among us, Hi people. We have a few great things coming down the line that I want to make sure you know about.
This weekend we are heading over to Kellogg, Idaho and Silver Mountain Resort. It’s going to be a great time of enjoying one another, and the great facilities (including an indoor waterpark with a wave, lazy river, tube rides and more) and a fantastic skiiing hill accessed by a Gondola.. We are hoping for fresh snow, and can’t wait to go!
At Gen One we are kicking off a Preaching Series looking at the process of going from “Being Called”, to living the life that “Confesses Jesus as Lord.” We are going to travel through the book of Matthew and really study how Peter has traveled along this journey. This series will begin tonight, January 6th and run each Wednesday through the end of the month.
Once February hits we will launch into our annual “Purity Preaching Series” and address issues that are relevant for young people in Missoula and their culture.
February 12th-14th we will be having our College & Career Retreat out at Deep Creek Prayer House. This is a great opportunity to connect with other people within the our church and community who are hungry for more of the Lord. More information and registration fees are coming soon.
It’s gonna be a great year, and I’m so blessed that you’re a part of our church family!

Miracle Night, Wow!
Hey guys, I just wanted to restate the great news about Miracle Night which was December 9th. At the end of the service we received a special offering for Gen One, and YOU pledged and gave a total of $1,819. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. It is amazing what we can do together for God’s kingdom! I do want to remind you that if you pledged money, we are hoping to have that turned in by Wednesday January 6th, 2010. Thank you so much, and Merry Christmas

Hello August, it’s nice to see you
Hey guys I hope you’re Summer isn’t going to fast and you are enjoying every minute of it. I can hardly believe that this week the Western Montana Fair is in town! Oh how time flies when you’re having fun! I wanted to remind everyone of a few things for the upcoming weeks. First there is no Gen One service this Wednesday because of the fair. If you are signed up to work the fair, thanks so much! Without you we couldn’t do so many of our great events. If you don’t know we have a food booth at the fair serving Philly Cheesesteaks and we are also the exclusive booth with Espresso drinks. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we appreciate all your support. The booth is located on food row on the fairgrounds.
We also have just a few events left during the summer including hiking the “M” trail, biking to the Osprey game. Be sure to be checking the website or Facebook for those dates. Wednesday night services are continuing to go and we will be officially kicking of the Fall semester on September 16th. Keep looking for details about this. It’s going to be a grea semester including the Vision Conference October 15-17 @ CFCC and so much more. We have great things planned for Jr. High, High School and College this semester and you will definitely want to be a part of it.
We have an amazing youth ministry and I’m so looking forward to the days ahead. Enjoy your week, and thanks for being a part of our church family!
